hi, my name's amanda, and i'm not a writer. i'm seventeen, which means i'm an emotional teenager with a lot going on in her head. i meant for this journal to be something special for me. and it is. this is one of those safe havens that i can let out the complicated thoughts in my head. nothing i write anymore is amazing. i lost that a long time ago. still, these thoughts aren't for everyone, so this journal is friends only.

i'm a decently nice person. check out my profile for my interests and whatnot. i will add anyone who's interested in what i have to say, as long as we have common ground on something. so this is your place to establish that. you should comment here if i don't already know you or i won't add you back.

the passenger seat - death cab for cutie  
i roll the window down
and then begin to breathe
the darkest country road
and the strong scent of evergreen
from the passenger seat as
you are driving me home

then, looking upwards
i strain my eyes and try
to tell the difference between
shooting stars and satellites
from the passenger seat as
you are driving me home

do they collide
i ask and you smile
with my feet on the dash
the world doesn't matter

when you feel embarrassed
i'll be your pride
when you need directions
i'll be the guide
for all time
for all time
